Sodium hypochlorite is sodium hypochlorite. Hypochlorite produced by the reaction of sodium hypochlorite with carbon dioxide is an effective component of bleaching agent. White extremely unstable solid, easy to explode when mixed with organic matter or reductant. The aqueous solution is alkaline and decomposes slowly into NaCl, NaClO and O rams. It is fast decomposed by heat and light, and has strong oxidation. Sodium hypochlorite is mainly used in bleaching, industrial wastewater treatment, paper making, textile, pharmaceutical, fine chemical industry, sanitary disinfection and many other fields.
1. Bleaching of pulp, textiles (such as cloth, towels, sweaters, etc.), chemical fibers and starch;
2. Soap making industry is used as bleaching agent for oil and fat.
3. Chemical industry is used to produce hydrazine hydrate, monochloroamine and dichloroamine.
4. chlorinating agents for the manufacture of cobalt and nickel;
5. Used as water purifier, bactericide and disinfectant in water treatment.
6. The dyestuff industry is used to make blue sulfide.
7. The detergent used in organic industry to produce chlorinated bitter and hydrate calcium carbide to acetylene;
8. Agriculture and animal husbandry are used as disinfectants and deodorants for vegetables, fruits, farms and livestock houses.
9. Food grade sodium hypochlorite is used for disinfection of beverage water, fruits and vegetables, sterilization and disinfection of food manufacturing equipment and utensils, but it can not be used in food production process with sesame as raw material.
