  I. Air scrubbing method

  Generally speaking, if people can see a large number of impurities on the resin surface from the microscope, the water level of the exchanger will be lowered to about 300 to 400 millimeters above the resin by this method. The time should not be too long. Ten to fifteen minutes or so can be used to scrub the ion exchange resin continuously until the water is clear.

  2. Treatment of Polishing Resin by Acid Washing

  Some impurities, such as iron ions and calcium carbonate, which can not be cleaned by air, can be repeatedly cleaned with hydrochloric acid. However, before pickling, there are certain requirements for water level, roughly 200 to 300 in the resin layer. The cleaning solution is generally EDTA dilute solution.

  3. Alkali washing method

  Because the surface contains a lot of protein substances, if the polishing resin enters the surface and forms an oil film on the resin surface, it can prove that the resin has been polluted.
